Why I built this, and why it's free.

I drive a Tesla. I'm in the owner groups, the WhatsApp ones where somebody posts a clip every week. A scratched door in a mall parking lot. A smashed window, filmed from four angles. The clips always have the same shape: the car saw everything, and the owner is narrating it the next morning.

Then it was my turn. My car was parked outside my home. Something hit it. I found out hours later, standing next to the damage, doing the same sad walk around the car everyone in those groups has done. Nobody was there to answer for it, and hours-old news is nothing you can act on.

That's the part that isn't right. Sentry Mode is a genuinely good camera system. The car knows what is happening to it, in real time. The owner finds out when it's over. And the gap between those two moments is exactly when being there, or honking the horn from your phone, could have changed the ending.

Tesla built an official platform that lets an app close that gap. So I built the app. Your car streams the event the moment it happens, your phone buzzes, and honk, flash and lock are one tap away. That's the whole idea.

Why free

The alerts come from your own car. Charging a monthly fee to hand you what your car already knows never sat right with me. So it's free. If that ever changes, this site will say so plainly.
